WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?NON-CUSTOM ITEMS: If for any reason you are not satisfied with the item you have received, we gladly accept returns. You must contact us at lexi@thesleepyowlhome.com within 14 days of product delivery. All items eligible for return must be shipped back within 28 days of delivery. Please note that all shipping costs and transaction fees are at the expense of the customer and cannot be refunded. Items must be returned in the original condition and the buyer will be responsible for any loss in value of damaged items. Only after the returned product is received and condition is assessed, a full refund, minus all shipping and transaction fees, will be issued. CUSTOM ITEMS: All custom purchases are made to order and are personalized using the exact specifications from the customer. Therefore, unfortunately, due to the nature of these items, we are unable to accept returns for custom products. We highly recommend taking the time to edit and confirm all customized choice options before placing your order to ensure all information provided is accurate and to your satisfaction.

HOW DO I CANCEL/MAKE CHANGES TO MY ORDER?If for any reason you need to make changes to or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at lexi@thesleepyowlhome.com. We will make all efforts to accomodate your request but please note that it may not be possible. For custom items, once production has begun (which can be as early as the same day your order was placed), we are unable to change or cancel your order.

CAN I PICKUP MY ORDER INSTEAD OF HAVING IT SHIPPED?Yes! If you are located near Knoxville, Tennessee, where our items are produced in our home workshop, you can opt to pickup, free of charge, at checkout. For terms and conditions of Local Pickup, please review our policy here.

WHEN WILL MY ITEM SHIP?Unless otherwise stated, approximate time frames for orders to be shipped are as follows: NON-CUSTOM ITEMS: within 15 business days CUSTOM ITEMS: within 20 business days Please note that these time frames are approximate and can occasionally exceed the estimate, especially during busy shopping seasons and/or unexpected high traffic and demand from social media.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER, ONCE IT HAS SHIPPED?"Most all items are shipped using USPS or UPS and usually arrive within 2-5 business days, though sometimes it can take longer due to circumstances beyond our control. Once an item has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email for your reference, including tracking information, if applicable to your order. Please refer to the tracking information, if provided, for updated transit/delivery information. Please note that most all print/sticker orders under $25 will not include tracking and will arrive via First Class Mail via USPS. Please allow these orders additional time to arrive. Such orders will not be deemed lost and/or replaced until 20 business days following shipment confirmation. Orders without tracking that are deemed "lost" will not be eligible for refund, but will instead be replaced and shipped again. Should a replacement order be shipped and you later receive the original shipment, return of the original shipment is required or you may opt to pay for the second replacement shipment.

MY PACKAGE WAS LOST/STOLEN. WHAT DO I DO?If your shipment was lost or stolen during transit by the shipping carrier, please reach out to us at lexi@thesleepyowlhome.com. We will reach out to the shipping carrier and begin the investigation process for locating your package. If the carrier deems your order was lost or stolen, we will get a replacement order shipped to you as soon as possible at no cost to you. We are not, however, responsible for lost or stolen items that have been confirmed as delivered to the correct address by the shipping carrier. Please contact your local authorities to report of any theft at your home or shipping destination.

MY ITEM IS DAMAGED/INCORRECT. WHAT DO I DO?Firstly, please accept our sincerest apologizies that your item was not delivered as intended. Athough we take every precaution to mitigate these issues from occuring, Lexi is, quite unfortunately, human and it still can happen. Please let us know about the damaged/incorrect item as soon as possible by contacting us at lexi@thesleepyowlhome.com within 14 days of product delivery. Don't worry, shipping charges for both the returned item and the replacement item are on us.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN NON-CUSTOM AND CUSTOM ITEMS?"First and foremost, know that all of our items available for purchase are produced the same way. Regardless of which category they fall under, all creations are hand made with great care and attention to detail. The main differences between in non-custom and custom items are as follows: NON-CUSTOM: The concept and layout for these items are already designed and prepared, but the item has not yet been fabricated. After the order has been placed for the item, production will begin. CUSTOM: These items are made specifically for the purchaser, using the choices and preferences they have selected and are entirely unique.

HOW DO I DISPLAY MY NEW SIGN?Due to our unique production process and use of lightweight materials, the vast majority of our signs come ready to hang without the need for any hanging hardware - simply place a nail or two in your wall and gently place your sign to be hung by the frame. For exceptionally large signage that would require extra support, hanging hardware will be pre-installed at no extra cost.

I WANT A PRODUCT IN A DIFFERENT SIZE/COLOR. IS THAT POSSIBLE?Yes! Whether it is a sign or apparel, we love customizing products! If you're in love with something you see but the isn't perfect for your space or exactly what you envisioned, contact us here and we will happily discuss your ideas and options to help bring your creation to life. Please note that additional fees may apply for custom orders and special requests. A quote will always be provided before purchasing.

ARE ALL OF THE PRODUCTS EXACTLY THE SAME?All items are made by hand and built from scratch using raw materials. With that in mind, every item is going to have its own unique look and feel to it. When comparing two items, one may notice small differences in details such as the paint's brush strokes and the cut and color of the wood frame. These small diversities in our products are celebrated and admired at The Sleepy Owl. Because our products are entirely designed, built, painted, and assembled in our very own home workshop, it is inevitable that you will see the small differences in your hand made items and we love that. Paint strokes will be never be the exact same and one batch of wood may not absorb stain at the same rate as the previous batch, resulting in slightly lighter colored frames for the next order's sign. We love that each and every item is made with love and is special and unique and we hope you do too.
